RESUMEN
Actriz, directora y profesora de teatro e inglés.
Licenciada en Magisterio: especialidad Inglés en la Universidad Complutense de Madrid
Inició sus estudios de Interpretación en 2013 en la RESAD de Madrid, en la especialidad de Interpretación textual, donde realiza obras como "La enfermedad de la juventud" (Ferdinand Bruckner) "Yo la conocí en un taxi" (Laura García), "Tartufo" (Moliére), "La Tempestad" (William Shakespeare), "Don Gil de las calzas verdes" (Tirso de Molina) "La fortaleza Europa" (Tom Lannoye) o "Más allá de la terapia" (Christopher Durang). Tanto "Tartufo" como "La fortaleza Europa" se presentan a concursos de teatro internacionales como el de Agadir, ganando premios como Mejor obra, Mejor Vestuario o Mejor elenco.
Su formación viene sin embargo de los grupos de teatro no profesionales, en los que lleva trabajando desde los 8 años. Con el grupo de teatro Cors, participa en las obras como ”El rey león” (2000) “Cuento de Navidad”(2004), “Génesis” (2007), “Chicago”(2008), o “El fantasma de la Ópera” (2009) Con el grupo de teatro Mutis, realiza las obras “Eloísa está debajo de un almendro” (2011), “La soga” (2012), “El sueño de una noche de verano” (2012) “El concierto de San Ovidio” (2013) o, en la actualidad, en el montaje de "Peter and the starcatcher" y en el grupo de teatro musical Acorde al guión, actúa en “Los Miserables” (2012) “La bella y la Bestia” (2013) y actúa y dirige "Mamma Mia" (2014) "Wicked" (2015) "Hairspray" (2016) "Canción de Navidad" (2016) "Spamalot" (2017) o "In the heights", además de escribir y protagonizar el musical original "Calle Navidad nº3". En 2017 entra a formar parte de la compañía teatral Retiro donde realiza diversos sainetes de los hermanos Álvarez Quintero y visitas teatralizadas por la ciudad de Madrid. Actualmente de gira nacional con la compañía de teatro infantil en inglés Theatre4schools y en la casa de teatro de terror interactivo La Quinta de Melque.
Combina este trabajo teatral con la participación en diversos cortometrajes, series de televisión, anuncios, y giras con obras de teatro didáctico por diversos colegios en la Comunidad de Madrid tanto en inglés como en castellano. También trabaja como monitora y profesora de teatro en empresas como Menudapeli, animaciones de cumpleaños y comuniones y de profesora particular y de extraescolares de inglés.

Actress, director and theatre and English teacher.
Born and raised in Madrid, Marta developed an interest in acting from a young age. She enrolled at Complutense University to study English teaching, alongside her work as an actress; she completed a bachelor's degree in 2010.
Then, she applied and was accepted by the Royal Spanish School of Drama (RESAD) in Madrid, performing in productions such as "Pains of Youth" (Ferdinand Bruckner) "Yo la conocí en un taxi" (Laura García), "Tartuffe" (Moliére), "The Tempest" (William Shakespeare), "Don Gil de las calzas verdes" (Tirso de Molina) "Fort Europe" (Tom Lannoye) or "Beyond Therapy" (Christopher Durang). "Tartuffe" and "Fort Europe" were performed in International Theatre Festivals such as the Festival International du Théâtre Universitaire d’Agadir (FITUA) winning awards such as Best Play, Best Costume or best Ensemble.
Alongside this proffesional education, she has been working on musical and theatrical non-proffesional productions since she was 8. With the CORS company, she has performed in the plays”The lion king” (2000) “A christmas carol”(2004), “Génesis” (2007), “Chicago”(2008), or “The Phantom of the Opera” (2009) With Mutis Theatre Company, she participates in “Eloísa está debajo de un almendro” (2011), “Rope” (2012), “A Midsummer Night's Dream” (2012) “El concierto de San Ovidio” (2013) or "Peter and the starcatcher" With Acorde al guión, a company of Musical Theatre, she acts in “Les Miserables” (2012) “Beauty and The Beast” (2013) and performs and directs "Mamma Mia" (2014) "Wicked" (2015) "Hairspray" (2016) "A christmas carol-The musical" (2016) "Spamalot" (2017) or "In the heights", besides writing and originating the role of Sara in the original musical "Calle Navidad nº3"
In 2017 she joins the Retiro Theatre Company, where she plays in various short plays written by the Álvarez Quintero brothers, and themed tours through Madrid.
Marta combines these thetre performances with participations in various short and long movies, TV series and commercials. During this period, she toured schools with different plays and storytelling for children both Spanish and English. She also works as a techer of English and theatre (Menudapeli)
Currently touring around Spain with the company Theatreforschools, performing Sleeping beauty and Excalibur.
